Using a component wall mount or TV shelf is easy way to move your electronic components, DVD player, cable box or other electronics up and out of the way. Component mounts are designed to hold peripheral electronics like satellite boxes and game systems under or close to your flat screen TV so that you don't need extended cables or wires to connect one to the other. Mounting bracket manufacturers like Crimson AV, Peerless Mounts and Chief Mounts had this idea in mind when they released their lines of component mounts.
