Auralex's Roominators™ Complete Acoustical Sound Control Kits
offer an easy, affordable solution for sound control problems in common-sized
rooms. Each kit is designed for easy installation with no formulas, no detailed
dimensional mathematics, and no physics required! The Roominator kits span a
wide variety of applications, addressing the acoustic and aesthetic needs of
the both small project studios and demanding, professional mix/mastering environments,
eliminating unwanted slap and flutter echoes.
This D108L Roominaor Kit is an expanded version of the ALPHA-DST,
and is great for 10 ft. x 12 ft. x 8 ft. (or smaller) project studios, edit
suites and more. DST panels address mid/high issues, while DST LENRD Bass Traps
help smooth out the low-frequency response. Adhesive included.
The Roominators D108L offers you all the components you need to attack the
acoustics of a smaller Project Studio, and gives you a very professional appearance.
The 1 ft. x 1 ft. panels allow you to spread absorption throughout the room
in some fantastic and creative patterns. The D108L is also excellent for smaller
Home Theaters and can give you an elegant look that will impress even your non-musical
friends. Two D108L Kits may be appropriate for medium-sized studios and home
theaters, as well as live rooms and rehearsal spaces.
The D108LBUR kit includes:
- 54 DST-112 panels in Charcoal Gray.
- 54 DST-114 panels in Burgundy.
- 8 DST-LENRD Bass Traps in Charcoal Gray.
- 248 EZ-Stick Pro Tabs Adhesives.
The panels feature:
- 2 inch thick StudioFoam, with 2 ridges per DST-112 panel and 4 ridges per
DST-114 panel. (DST-114 panels can also be cut in 3 inch shingles for custom
installation.)
- High-quality acoustical absorption foam.
- Easy installation, using included adhesive tubes.
- 3 available color choices: Charcoal Gray, Burgundy, and Purple. (see related
