A popular solution for corporate offices and sophisticated homes, Chief's SL236 electric ceiling lift offers smooth lowering motions for high, ceiling-mounted projectors.
It requires only 11" of ceiling clearance and features:
- A low profile design for minimal lift visibility.
- 36" of downward travel, with three adjustable stopping positions ("Up", "Show" and "Service").
- +/-2 degree rotation, +/-15 degree tilt and +/-10 degree leveling ranges for precise registration and viewing.
- Fore/aft and right/left projector cradle positioning.
- Optional low voltage control.
- Easy attachment to either finished or suspended ceilings.
- Quick projector disconnect/reconnect.
- Four mounting methods. (See below.)
- Integrated cable management.
- 0.75 amp continuous current draw.
- 35 lb weight capacity.
Available in a white finish only.
*Please choose between 120 volt and 230 volt models. (Lift will also accept 5-30V AC/DC low voltage for triggering commands.)
All electrical components are UL, CSA and VDE listed. You may use more than one control device so long as you are not using latching switches.
The SL236 is mountable by:
- Four 3/8" threaded rods, requiring the SMA-650 accessory.
- 1.5" threaded extension column, requiring the SMA-600 accessory.
- Built-in joist tabs for side-mounting directly to wood-framed ceilings.
- Cable suspension, requiring the SMA-650 accessory. (Use this option only when a large distance from the structure or overhead equipment prevent more traditional mounting methods.)
**To mount your projector to the lift, you will need one SLB adapter plate/interface bracket, available in the "Related Products" section below. To find the correct bracket for your equipment, use the "Compatibility Lists' below. (Use the same suffix as the RPA-series mounts but with an SLB prefix.)
The SL-236 is slightly larger than a 2x2 foot ceiling tile opening. If you have these tiles, some modification of the ceiling track will be necessary to install the lift.
